I believe I received the best and utmost care from all the hospital staff and also from the ROC nurses who attended tom me after my discharge.

Community care was certainly not expected so when Clare rang it was a huge surprise I had already met Sarah on ward , who gave me background details of what ROCS entailed. Thank you for the superb help and guidance I have received, filling in so many blanks for my rehabilitation. This has been my fourth operation at ROH and have not experienced this treatment before. The liaison and transition with patient and community is a vital service, so many thanks to everyone concerned and involved in ROCs your works is invaluable.

My care was absolutely great I could not fault any part of it. Things I did not realise was explained to me really well so that I could understand. The advice given was really helpful. I do not believe any improvement can be made in my opinion.

The surgical treatment I received was first class. The physiotherapy department was patchy. Generally caring and understanding the treatment did not always follow what was described at the hip clinic, and not all therapists picked up on me being only "partial" load bearing. The real problem was the day of discharged. It was unclear who was responsible for my release. My doctor said I was ready to go but nursing staff kept wanting more and more information on my bloods. As a result when I was released I was at the back of the queue and the last to be discharged at 5.30pm.
